  • writing informally in JEs where you have to use writing to think about the assigned readings.
  • class time (various presentations and question/answer designed to get us to pay attention to various ways that authors shape their work)
  • the formal writing projects (2 WPs) which have you develop a project through all the stages of invention, arrangement, drafting and revision.
