Evidence-based practice (EBP) is vital to patient safety and healthcare quality. 

Assignment Deliverable

Develop an 900- to 1,200-word paper for a strategic plan for implementing a specific EBP change to make your organization more diverse, equitable, and inclusive. 

Include
 the following in your strategic plan:

· The EBP change you would implement in your future role to support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)

· The EBP model that you would use and the rationale for using that EBP model

· Leadership competencies that would be needed and why

· Resources that would be needed

· Interprofessional collaboration that would be needed

· The communication strategy that you would use

· Strategies to sustain the EBP change

· A means for measuring and evaluating organizational and culture change to support DEI

· Criterion 1: The EBP change you would implement in your future role to support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and what leadership competencies that would be needed.

20% of total grade

· Criterion 2: Explain the EBP model that would be used and the rationale for using that EBP model.

20% of total grade

· Criterion 3: Identified the interprofessional collaboration that would be needed, and the communication strategy that would be used

25% of total grade

· Criterion 4: Included resources that would be needed, process for measuring and evaluating organizational and culture change, and strategies to sustain the EBP change.

20% of total grade

· Criterion 5: Include at least 4 resources which are peer-reviewed and current (published since 2017). Sources from “.com” sites will unlikely be peer-reviewed.

10% of total grade

· Mechanics: Submission is concise, has exceptional detail, was free of errors, with a word count of 788-1155 words.

3% of total grade
