Overview:
This term, you have been hard at work building a hypothetical human service
program/organization. This week, you will have the opportunity to share your ideas and
pitch your program!
After submitting this assignment to your instructor for grading, you will head back to
Blackboard to share your program with your classmates.
Instructions:
Using the information shared in your Program Development Assignments, create a
presentation, using either PowerPoint or Kaltura, to highlight the significant pieces of
your program.
Assume that you are presenting to stakeholders in the community/organization and you
are pitching your idea to be funded and developed.
Be sure that you include the following information in your presentation:
1. Program Information:
• Program name
• Mission
• Populations served or issue addressed.
• Measurable goals and objectives.
2. Organizational Theory & Design:
• What theory will you apply?
• How will the work be divided? Be sure to include an Organizational Chart that
includes job titles and clarifies reporting structure.
3. Leadership & Organizational Culture:
• What leadership goals have you outlined for yourself OR what leadership
styles can you identify for your program?
• What would the organizational culture and climate be like?

• How will you ensure inclusivity?

• How will you use your evaluation results to ensure your program is effective

• This is your final pitch! Recap the significance of your program.
If recording a video, it’s important to maintain a professional demeanor by paying
attention to your body language, appropriate attire, and clear and polished delivery
while maintaining a professional and academic tone.

Requirements:
• Submit a presentation using either of the following:
o A PowerPoint Presentation consisting of at least 8 slides. If using
PowerPoint, you must include a voiceover.
o A 5–7-minute Kaltura Video Presentation.
• Your presentation should consist of a combination of the following visual and
non-visual elements: Images, text, voiceover, visual aids, displays, and/or
diagrams depending on which style of presentation you choose.

you write and again after you write.
