Post Your Introduction [WLO: 1] [CLOs: 1, 2, 5]

In your initial post, the discussion is divided into two parts. First, introduce yourself to your peers and instructor. Then, complete the Preliminary Practicum work found in the Practicum Resource Center on your Canvas dashboard. For the Preliminary Practicum work, you will need to complete the following:

  • Complete the CITI SBER (Social-Behavioral Education Research) if you have not already completed it in HIA625. Attach the PDF certificate to your post using the “Attach” button on the lower left of the discussion reply box. You must also submit your CITI SBER certificate to Mrs. Erica Young in the Practicum Resource Center so that you are eligible to register for MPH603.
  • Select a Faculty Advisor. Contact Mrs. Erica Young ([email protected]) to find which MPH faculty are available, request a brief meeting via phone or Zoom, and receive confirmation that they can work with you. This is also required for you to register for MPH603.
  • Finally, review the MPH Practicum Orientation and discuss in 100-250 words what aspect you found to be the most helpful. This is required for you to be eligible to register for MPH605.
