This blog is based on culture and is worth 25 points. I would like you to view the attached video and write the equivalent of 2/3 of a page commentary on your take on what the speaker says. While there are no wrong answers since we are asking for your comments and opinions, make sure your points are substantial. Do not just say that you enjoyed viewing the video. Offer specific reasons why and here are a few prompts you must use:

1.- What are the three most important takeaway [points] from what the speaker is presenting?

2.- What were the two most important examples he talked about that resonated with you?

3.- Were there any stereotypes used in the lecture? What were two of them and how are they stereotypes?

4.- What was one point you might have not fully understood from the ideas he talked about?

5.- Does the lecture have intellectual value for our society here in the US? Do you believe everyone in the US should watch this video, or are there other ways to begin educating people about how to view cultural diversity?

These are prompts to help guide the discussion, and you must address them. You can also add your own take on any other issues you find interesting in the lecture. MAKE SURE YOU READ TWO OTHER STUDENTS’ BLOGS AND TO COMMENT ON THEIR POST.  DO NOT JUST SAY “GREAT POINT” EXPLAIN HOW OR WHY IS A GREAT POINT. FOLLOW UP WITH EXPLANATIONS OF WHY YOU THINK THIS IS A GOOD POINT, OR EVEN IF YOU VIEW THE SAME ISSUE DIFFERENTLY.
