Shitty First Drafts by Ann Lamott
NOTE–Remember to write down data about your writing process for this assignment in your Writing Log. First take a few minutes to set up your writing process data collection for this activity. Write down the answers to the following questions while you read and write this response: What was easy and hard about the reading and writing for this assignment and why? Where did I write this? How long did I write each time I worked on it? What did I work on each time I wrote? Where did I struggle with this writing assignment? What got me stuck? Where did have writing burst? When and how did that happen? Put these notes in your writing log. Remember that planning and thinking about writing is also part of the process so note those actions in the journal.
